| Rake your lawn in early spring to prevent problems with snow mold. As the snow and ice recedes, use a leaf rake to fluff the grass and speed drying. This and fertilizing in fall instead of spring will help reduce the risk of snow mold. If the disease does occur, reseed any dead areas in spring instead of using pesticides. |
