Management

Hand-pull from the garden, taking care to remove all roots and stems. If this does not work, spot treat with total vegetation killer.

Treat lawns with traditional broadleaf weed killers in fall after a hard frost, or in spring when plants are in full bloom. It takes several years to control these weeds and all their seeds in the soil.

Always read and follow all label directions before applying any chemical or organic products in the landscape.
